Dedicated to the future stars of Folly

The 2001/2001 under 16/18's squad

The future of Folly Lane Rugby Club is one that will be decided by the development and training of young players at the club. At Folly we believe that to be a good player you must love and enjoy playing the game. All players have different standards and levels that they want to play at, and at Folly we can provide experienced coaching staff to help the future stars achieve their goals and enjoy rugby.

All age groups in the youth section train on at least one evening in the week and the games are played on Sundays. In order to develop and encourage the youngest of players, the under 7's to under 12 games are always played as "friendlies" meaning that no league standings and tables are in place. However as the players mature and become to realise the responsibility of representing Folly Lane, they play in different leagues and have the opportunity to be selected for different levels, i.e. county and national teams.

Everyone wants to enjoy success and it tastes just as good at a young age as it does when the players are older. So if you are a youngster who wants to play for Folly Lane, have fun and enjoy both the playing and social aspects of the game then contact one of the relevant coaches below:-
